Choosing the right dress for a wedding, celebration, or special occasion takes time and care. This guide is designed to help you select the right style, size, color, and event timeline before placing your order.

Choose by Occasion

Start by considering the occasion and dress code.

For Weddings:
Mother of the bride dresses, mother of the groom dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and formal occasionwear can be selected based on the wedding theme, venue, season, dress code, and color palette.

For Formal Events:
Evening dresses, floor-length gowns, refined midi dresses, and elegant occasionwear may be suitable for dinners, galas, ceremonies, and formal celebrations.

For Homecoming or Special Celebrations:
Shorter dresses, midi styles, soft colors, and youthful silhouettes may be suitable depending on the event and dress code.

Choose by Length

Floor-Length Dresses:
A refined choice for weddings, formal events, evening occasions, and elegant celebrations.

Midi & Tea-Length Dresses:
A polished option for garden weddings, daytime celebrations, semi-formal events, and customers who prefer an easier walking length.

Short Dresses:
Suitable for homecoming, parties, cocktail events, and less formal occasions.

Choose by Silhouette

A-Line:
A versatile silhouette with a fitted upper body and a skirt that gradually widens toward the hem.

Sheath or Column:
A clean, streamlined silhouette for customers who prefer a sleek and refined look.

Fit and Flare:
A feminine silhouette with more definition through the upper body or waist and additional shape through the skirt.

Empire Waist:
A high-waisted silhouette that falls from beneath the bust for a soft and graceful appearance.

Choose by Fabric

Chiffon:
Soft and fluid with an elegant drape, often used for weddings, bridesmaid dresses, and refined occasionwear.

Satin:
Smooth and polished, often selected for formal events and evening occasions.

Lace:
Detailed and feminine, suitable for weddings, mother of the bride dresses, and classic occasionwear.

Jacquard:
Structured and decorative, suitable for formal events and statement occasionwear.

Tulle or Organza:
Often used to create volume, structure, layers, or delicate occasionwear details.

Choose the Right Size

Please review the VETALISE Size Chart carefully before placing your order.

Do not choose a size based only on your usual everyday clothing size, as formal dress sizing may differ from regular clothing.

Please measure your bust, waist, hips, hollow to floor, height, and heel height carefully where applicable.

If your measurements fall between two standard sizes, choosing the larger size may allow more room for professional alterations if needed.

Custom Size

Custom sizing may be available for selected dresses.

If you choose Custom Size, please provide the requested measurements carefully, which may include:

• Bust
• Waist
• Hips
• Hollow to Floor
• Height
• Heel Height
• Event Date

Custom-size items are prepared according to the measurements submitted with the order. Because these items are made or adjusted specifically for the customer, they are generally not eligible for return or exchange once production or customization has begun, except in cases involving an incorrect, defective, or damaged item caused by our error, or where otherwise required by applicable law.

Choose the Right Color

Colors may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting, photography, fabric characteristics, production batches, and display differences.

For weddings and coordinated events, we recommend considering the event theme, season, venue, and overall color palette when selecting a color.

For bridal parties or coordinated groups, we recommend placing orders as early as possible and reviewing color selections carefully before ordering.

Event Date Planning

If you need your dress for a specific event date, please place your order as early as possible.

Providing an event date helps us understand your timeline, but does not guarantee delivery by that date.

Most VETALISE dresses are prepared or made to order, with standard tailoring and preparation taking approximately 3–6 business days after the order and payment have been confirmed.

Custom sizing, custom colors, personalized details, alterations, and other special requests may require additional preparation or production time.
